CHIME Live!

This was the culminating showing of our year of mentorship with Margaret Jenkins through her CHIME program. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and resources available over 2018.  Photo from an excerpt of our new work “The Grass is Sleeping” premiering at the Joe Goode Annex, April 18-20, 2019.

No More Gaga @ SF Conservatory of Dance

…the space has closed. We are thankful for six wonderful years there.

*Weekly open Gaga classes are currently happening:

TUESDAYS 6:15-7:15PM LINES Dance Center in San Francisco

WEDNESDAYS 7:30-8:30PM at Shawl-Anderson in Berkeley

Saturday, December 8, 2:30-6:00pm

Joe Goode Annex, 401 Alabama St., San Francisco (16th BART)

The day will consist of a Gaga/Dancers Class, where we investigate the Movement Language (Ohad Naharin/Batsheva), an Improvisation Class, and a Methodica session (focused on the theory of Gaga as well as an open discussion offering clarity about Gaga and/or Improvisation).

We will research and follow our curiosities with guided events and exercises and learn Graham’s approaches for getting beyond our comfort zone and familiar territory as dancers…find nuance, find power, find pleasure.

Dance background is encouraged.
